Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green injured his left index finger during Friday night's 127-110 loss to the San Antonio Spurs, and his status for Saturday's home game against the Charlotte Hornets is unclear.

quote:

Green was wearing a wrap over both his wrist and left index finger when he met with reporters following Friday's game and said he was dealing with a "ligament" issue. Officially, the Warriors called the injury a sprained left index finger. It remains to be determined whether Green will need an MRI.

Nearly 500 million wrapped in their top 4 players they will need to get some good players cheap. Interesting to see how long before Kerr has his health issues pop back up.

I knew Draymond was the next to go... After a few games of getting blown out they realized it was time to tank, Curry, then Draymond, no self respect at all. You gave out your beatings, now take your beatings like men.

Warriors is cursed this year. Time for payback of recent success.

Its actually brilliant.

Get a lottery pick who will fit in salary wise with the superstars when they come back next year along with a cheap 2nd rd contributor who will make nothing, but can help with depth.

They weren't going to win this year regardless, saves their reputation (and pride) while giving them a better chance to win next year with everyone rested and healthy.

I would LOVE to be in that position. Three championships in five years.
Pelicans seem cursed almost every year, when’s the time for payback of no success?

One of these isn't close to the others. It's not DLo, by the way.

Right
Evaluate DLo
If he doesn’t fit, trade him
Get a lottery pick
Let Klay get healthy
Save miles on Steph’s tires
Makes perfect sense

Weird. I was always told by the media how awesome Draymond was and that he was the real essential piece to GS and someone who could carry a team on his own.

Have their lifelong fans stopped showing up to the games yet?

I’m not sure anyone said draymond could carry a team on his own, but plenty of people said he’s the heart and soul/most important piece on the warriors.

That assertion is clearly false.
