I wanted the warriors to break the record but I guess this is a good result for the Pels if they lose out and somehow Minnesota wins out, however unlikely that may be.
Still wouldn't be surprised to see the Warriors win out though. You just never know what the Spurs will do in those 2 games.

The Warriors are tired. This is where the wizard Pop and his rested guys beat them in the playoffs.

What's the Warriors' record since Joe Lacob got himself off over how much smarter he is than the rest of the league?

I mean, they aren't growing and giving the Warriors all they can handle out of thin air. Let this coach see where he can take the T-wolves before we try getting him fired
The inconsistency kills it, Sam Mitchell is a damn good assistant coach, but its like giving Gentry HC position year after year...

GS still need to win out to secure the #1 seed.
They lose x2 v SAS, they need to go 2-0 v memphis (if SAS were to go 5-0, which is possible if GS and OKC were to start resting).
GS: Memphis x2; SAS x2
SAS: GS x2; @Denver; OKC; @Dallas

Brent Barry and Matt Winer are the only legit ones there. Dennis Scott is aggravating af, and Big Fella is just there for the laughs. EJ,Kenny, and Chuck should be back Thursday finally.

Nothing's wrong with them. But every team is coming at them with haymakers. I heard someone make a good point; It's like GSW have been playing playoff games for weeks now. That's going to start taking its toll on any team.

It would be the ultimate cautionary tale on prioritizing meaningless regular season accolades over the championship.
Of course if GS wins it all still then it's the greatest thing ever.

'Sota is going to get Thibs and come on strong next year.

the W's will be good on rest once they sweep round 1 and go no more than 6 round 2... besides they still haven't clinched home court, which might be pretty important against a team 39-0 at home

I'd think about shutting it down if I was GS once they locked up the top seed.
This team is clearly mentally and physically exhausted. The record doesn't mean anything if you don't win it all.

So they need to go 4-0 here to BEAT the record of 72?

Assuming sas win out, gsw have to win 2 both games against Memphis. If both are 70, sas are the #1 seed right?

Correct.
Gonna be interesting to see how Pop plays these last few games.

No because both can't win 72 games

I meant 70-12, my fault.
