Quarterbacks 25 and under are 1-41 all-time in regular season games played in Gillette Stadium.

The only QB 25 or younger to win one?

Colin Kaepernick, 2012.

Mahomes, just do it.

That is all the justification that any NFL team needs to sign Kaep. Just Do It

That game was wild

Pats were down 31-3 and almost came back to win but gave up some points late to lose by 7

It was pouring down rain too

That was the stand for the anthem Kaepernick.

Kneeling Kaepernick blows.

I remmeber that game very well... Brady was on fire in the second half... But they were just too far down to come back.

I didn't think anyone could beat that SF team that year after that. It was an absolute monsoon.

There are some similarities though to the KC team coming in... Young, rocket arm QB with weapons and clearly aren't afraid.

Should be. A great game if NE gets all tbe recovers clicking.

Back when the MSB was in love with Kaep and Harbaugh. It’s funny how things change

How many QBs 25 and younger typically start in the league?

And how many of those are on really bad teams who just had a high 1st to spend on said QB?

Gillette has been open since the 2002 season

that means they’ve had roughly 120 home regular season home games at Gillette

According to this stat that means that 42/120 games at Gillette featured a QB younger than 25 making a start against the patriots. Which is roughly 35% of all home games

So it’s a pretty hefty sample size

There’s not many QBs that turn out to be any good who don’t make a start until after they turn 25. 25 could be a 3-4 year veteran QB

I’d be curious to see how many of those starts came from afc east teams. Hose teams are generally garbage and should be discounted

Considering that 3/8 of their home games are AFC East teams and the general turnover at QB for the three of them, I would think a very high percentage.

With the Pats being division winners for much of that span, they likely played a huge number of division winners with older and experienced QBs like Peyton, Roethlisberger, etc, who wouldn’t count toward that total.
