I mean they made a terrible draft-day trade last year, so apparently how they value picks is different than the rest of the NFL currently.

They gave away starting DT Maliek Collins to the 49ers for a 7th earlier this week.

Not sure I like the trade for Houston. Unless they know the guy they want will still be there at 42. Giving away first round picks for 2 seconds doesn’t seem like good business.

Yeah I could understand if they did this during the draft maybe. Guess they figure Minnesota will be arse this year so that’s another top 40 pick for next year.

JJ will end up being the best QB in this draft.

Very underrated.

QB's are always over-drafted.

@NFL_DovKleiman
????????????: There is talk that the #Giants are planning on taking QB JJ McCarthy at pick #6 in this year's draft, per
@Connor_J_Hughes

"League sources spoke highly of McCarthy when polled by SNY. One high-ranking executive said he'll be a 'better pro than college player.' Another general manager said he has everything teams look for—size, athleticism, arm strength, accuracy, and playing in a pro-style offense."

Vikings honestly will probably be a mid to low tier team next season.

That was what the Cardinals were banking on with the Texans when they got their first round pick for this year last year too.

Yea it seems they might view the DTs around the same in that range. Figured they would’ve gotten a 4th or 5th instead of the 6th this year.

Was not a fan of giving Collins away for 7th and not getting Armstead. Nick did fumble that.

Outside the Kenny Picket year, when has this not been true?

They will package #11 & #23 along with their 1st next year to move into Top 3.
I don't think the Bears would do it but could you imagine?
They get #9, #11, and #23 and hold onto Justin Fields.

Giants trying to fleece someone in a trade. Or have someone get fleeces to trade up for McCarthy so they can pick who they want.

Not far fetched but I think WSH stays at 2 and takes May. Could see a trade up with NE at 3 taking him

Reads damn near word for word what they were saying about Daniel Jones, even the same draft spot.

I won't be an OSU fanboy and say he sucks cause he went to UM. However, I do not think his accuracy or arm strength are really that good. He is accurate within 8 yards of the line of scrimmage and was really good at it at Michigan. However, if you are trying to live 10 yards from the LOS in the NFL and not good 15+ yards plus, I feel like that fails

He is certainly an above average athlete, good size and played in a pro offense. I would maybe take him late first, but honestly think he's more a 2nd/3rd round talent

I would be so sad if my team took him in the top 10. I'm not a huge NFL fan these days, but I would legit not buy RedZone or the YouTube pass to watch Saints games if they traded up and took him. I'd take the year off

So you’ll gladly do so for Derek Carr?
