All are successful people who did crazy things. The same rebuttal "how could Famous Person A do Violent Act B when they have so much to lose" could be applied in each case.
Different ages, different sports, different races, different nationalities, different crimes, etc.

Your tiers must go by fives?

He did stop, watch the video.

Well after the fact that he did, I'm just saying when he hit him, if he had immediately stopped his car and perhaps got out to check on the other driver you could probably sell me that it was a huge accident, but driving off on down the track a little ways and not getting out of the car to check on him or showing any remorse, I'm not going to be sold that it was an accident

All three you mentioned were domestic violence. I don't think TS and Ward were in a relationship.

Those cars go fast as shite he prolly couldn't just stop on a dime

I don't see it.......

So? All of the cases show the initial rebuttal is flimsy as hell.
ETA: If we're going to use a non-domestic violence case, we can go with Marvin Harrison, and looking at the Harrison case, I have always been shocked at the amount of evidence against him.

Just watched the video. Holy shite. Will enter the pantheon of fricked up crash videos like the Greg Moore crash and the Tom Pryce crash. I honestly can't tell if Stewart sped up, but it seemed like Ward crept into the racing line unnecessarily. Tragic tragic situation.

, just a lot of folks jumping to ridiculous conclusions about intent.
I can't vouch for the frickery based on Napoleonic code, but intent ain't required in manslaughter.

One thing nobody has mentioned is what if Stewart has ANYTHING in his system? Even something like depression or anxiety meds could make this fun!

what does "under caution" mean?
And no one has answered what that guy was trying to accomplish by walking in the middle of the track.

Doesn't matter, it's not manslaughter either. It's a stupid, tragic accident where both are to blame for being stupid.

quote:the fact that you dont know what that means probably means you dont watch many races. There have been countless amounts of people who walk on the track doing what he did for as long as nascar and other race types existed. No offense but your opinion is kind of worthless if you dont know much about the rules/etiquette of racing.
what does "under caution" mean?

You read all 50+ pages? Lots of people have and everypne has said he is a dumbass.

Sorry man it just seems like something like this is bound to happen when a guy is walking in the middle of the track during a race

Kinda like walking thru a neighborhood at night in Florida with a hoodie on.

You know you can't compare domestic violence to this event. Completely different thought processes. They were just bad examples.
I don't remember the Harrison shooting that well, but there was arguments and heated exchanges.
Lets assume that nothing happened before the race; TS would have no reason to be upset with Ward before or after putting him to the wall. So if your opinion is correct that he murdered him, Ward approaching TS's car would have been the action to push him over the edge to murder a driver, something that TS would have been capable of doing numerous times in his 20yrs of racing. IMO- Highly unlikely.
