Negligence on both sides.

Tony just happened to be the one driving a vehicle

Yeah and for the kid's negligence he died.

For Tony's negligence he should go to prison.

It was an accident and only Stewart knows if it was unavoidable or not. He won't ever admit it if he was somewhat at fault of course.

Then why is Ward Jr seen attempting to move back up the track BEFORE impact, to avoid Tonys car? Did you hear Tony accelerate? I did.

Browsing this thread I've seen some ridiculous accusations and assumptions, but then I check the poster and realize it's the same old dumbasses who are always spouting bullshite. Carry on

Listen to the whole video...

First, you can't prove or even assume that was Tony. If you keep listening, you hear other revving noises. Is every sound on the video from Tony's car? Of course not. And there's a great chance that neither is the revving noise.

He does that to two other cars prior to Tony as well. He could have been hit by either of them but he was going for Tony, not trying to avoid him.

Yep, he's definitely jumping backwards...

Should the guy who caused Dale Earnhardt's death go to prison as well?

You guys are ridiculous, this is a terrible tragedy, but nobody should go to prison

Both Stewart and Ward Jrs line of sight was obscured by the car which preceded Stewarts. You know, the one with the clear line of sight that had to swerve to avoid hitting him?

This is why you never get out of the car, you never know when another car could lose control. The guy lived but damn.

Graphic warning

Probably because he realized he had just walked in front of a moving car.

Has anyone mentioned the fact that this guy was out of his car walking around on a race track? I mean, draw whatever conclusions you want about Tony, but how stupid could you be to go shake your finger while cars are still flying by on a dirt racetrack?

Can't prove but for sure can assume seemed logical it was TS car that produced that noise. No?

I don't think Stewarts vision was obstructed at all. I think he veered towards him to spin some dirt on ward.

Ward just got too close and Stewart misjudged how close he was. Ward attempts to Jump back at the last second..

Sad situation.

And those other drivers didn't hit him

It does seem as thought TS was accelerating into Kyle.

We need more video. Either way there will always be people who believe Tony hit him or tried to scare Kyle on purpose. He won't ever shake this.

The car is on the other side of the oval from the person taking the video. It's more logical to think the sound came from a closer vehicle on the near side of the track.
