I’m just glad they changed the name to something more fitting with their market. Utah Jazz and Memphis Grizzlies are just stupid.

I don’t hate it, but it looks too much like a generic create a team logo. Also, I was expecting new uniform templates as well.

The Jazz and Pelicans should trade names. The Great Salt Lake is home to hundred/thousands of Pelicans.

This is what they wanted, but the company Yeti said no. However, they picked a great name and logo. Feels rare to have a new team name so universally loved but hockey has done it with the last three name changes/expansions.

It's the right choice.
While Yeti was maybe technically better, it was more complicated.
Mammoth is great. Logo is pretty good for modern logos.
NHL knocking it out of the park lately. Kraken was also a great name.
