There was a very good crowd today. Today is Easter and it’s raining.

Houston kicks a FG to get the scoring started

Unfortunate arm fracture for the Michigan DB that left the field a bit ago.

The drone motors are annoying

More security Guards in the stands than spectators

I have no recollection of the USFL in their first time around. BUT I think they were on par with NFL teams and were directly competing with them. Hell the Breakers were probably better than the Saints back then.
I remember it well. They convinced some good college players to sign like Herschel, Mike Rozier, Reggie White, Jim Kelly, Anthony Carter Steve Young, Gary Anderson, Kelvin Bryant, Tim Spencer, Flutie(more for his name and popularity) that would've been, save Flutie, 1st round NFL picks. They also stole a few vets from the NFL who were legit stars like Brian Sipe, Doug Williams, Joe Cribbs, Gary Barbaro, etc. Some older NFL players like QB's Greg Landry and Bobby Scott also signed. They also had some guys who later went to the NFL and became stars, like Gary Zimmerman(HOF), Sam Mills, Vaughn Johnson, Sean Landeta Mel Gray, etc. who might not have gotten a chance if not for the USFL. However, they were in no way whatsoever equal to the NFL. The Buccaneers who were by far the worst NFL team would've beaten the Philadelphia Stars the best USFL team by 5 td's.

Houston Texans should have used Houston Gamblers instead. Love that team name.

They’ve gotta find a way to cut the sound of the drone out. It’s ridiculous.
And I say that as someone who flies a drone myself.

Was there whistles right before kick? That seemed strange

NFL would have never allowed Gamblers named to be used

Higher number- total points, or fans in the stands?

I know the No Fun League would never let it happen. The logo is even better for Gamblers.

Paxton Lynch needs to move on to his next career.

Looks like Panthers are as bad as the Lions.
