USC head coach Lincoln Riley told reporters after the game the issue was a hamstring injury that occurred on arguably Williams' best play of the game, a 59-yard run that set up a touchdown on the Trojans' second drive of the game.

The injury probably made scouts love him even more. The way he could still launch rockets on one leg showed how incredible his arm talent is.

Did he paint "50 percent" on his fingernails during the game?

Changing the narrative so they can justify him winning the Heisman

This has to earn Riley some serious criticism on multiple fronts. Risking the player further injuring himself. Hamstring injuries are no joke and can lead to serious secondary injuries. Be the adult and tell the kid to sit.

Williams at not even close to 50% clearly hurt the USC offense. Be a leader and make a decision. Claiming he left Williams in because that's what Williams wanted is more weakness.

If he wasn't even 50% he shouldn't have been playing.

So either Riley is a liar trying to blame his QB for his O and D lines getting shredded or he threw an injured QB out there when he had no business being on the field.

Terrible look either way.

TCU QB should win the Heisman if they go undefeated. Don't care about the stats. Not like anyone really stands out this season.

That makes Lincoln even more of a piece of shite for putting him out there to get lit up when the game was essentially over.

In the game injury looked more like he was favoring an ankle than a hammy.

His limp got worse as the point margin grew. It was a medical mystery. Maybe his nail salon can message his hammy. He can call Deshaun Watson for advice.

I'm just curious why he could barely walk in between plays but during the play he was running 4.5 around the corner

He should still win the Heisman. Jason White won it in 03 even after 35-7.

And he was one of the worst winners.

Outscored 56-21 after winning.
