It'll be interesting to see who knew what and see what actually went down inside the athletic department rather than just intermitant Yahoo Sports pieces

This.
Tarnished Heisman had proof that he knew Bush was receiving impermissible benefits from marketing reps, as Bush and McNair got wined and dined with the marketing guys picking up the tab. Photocopies of the receipt were shown in the book.
Knowing about it and not turning it over to the compliance guys for investigation meant a lack of institutional control by SC.

All very true, and of course you're just twisting the knife, but objectively speaking, LSU really doesn't have a shot at the BCSCG IMHO. Not even in 11 unless Matt Barkley takes the reins at QB.

yeah but the BCS has stated if USC was found guilty of transgressions for the 2004 season they would begin to discuss stripping them of the title.

Everything I have read states they will just vacate the title and have no BCS champion. That is if they decide to even vacate the title.
