so do they have to give up the NC?

that's not up to the NCAA

all titles are from organizations that are not the NCAA...either the AP or BCS

it's the same with the heisman

yeah but the BCS has stated if USC was found guilty of transgressions for the 2004 season they would begin to discuss stripping them of the title.

where is tangy?

The definitive predictions from Tangy a few months ago were priceless. What's the O/U on the number of bumps given to those threads?

I cringed for him when he made all those predictions - how could he have inside knowledge on the NCAA's ruling, when the committee in fact had not even reached its ruling yet? Unreal.

Truthfully this stuff happens EVERY DAY in the SEC, we just report ourselves when it happens. The SEC just continues to do it. I think being in L.A. and not having local media ignore when you self report or self correct things is a big deal.

lunacy

a big part in this punishment is that USC didn't have correct controls, didn't report, and didn't cooperate

the SEC always self reports

Depending on how quick the conference alignments take, this will have a big effect..or no effect at all on USC in the future.

They are now positive that the sanctions were purposely overstated so they would be appealed and overturned.

Love this quote....

I think being in L.A. and not having local media ignore when you self report or self correct things is a big deal. Face it, this punishment is a witch hunt. Unless there is evidence NO ONE had info on or knew about this is SILLY. Also, how is it there is news on the football punishment but none on basketball

Yeah because the SEC never self reports, and the media down here doesn't obsess over everything football.

Okie Dokie. I couldn't find any other way. The site is so damn horrible looking I guess I missed the right button.

Although I am glad I did sign up cause I have been poking them with a stick all night and morning.

Ah ok. I kept looking in the Threads list page but not once I was in a thread.

Oh well, as I said, signing up enabled me to have a fun night and morning.

I think one thing this supports is that "coach loyalty" is almost always a bunch of bullshite.
