Does this mean anything that we won the group? Didn't we win the group in '06? And that turned out awful.

It really doesn't.

I'm sure Mexico will be a easy arse group just like last time when they finished 2nd to the US.

Best coached game of Bradley's career. All of the substitutions were on point, and the strategy was fine from the beginning.

We came out aggressive and continued throughout the game. The passing between defense and midfield was excellent, and once Casey was taken out, the forwards were excellent as well. Jozy had the best game of his life. He created chances out of nowhere, constantly battled for the ball, and hustled more than anyone else on the pitch.

Robbie Rogers had some great opportunities when he came in for Holden, who looked like shite. I have been critical of Bornstein, but he played well as a left back today, especially on the offensive side. His header was great, but that shouldn't be all he is remembered for.

The worst players tonight were Holden, Onyewu, Feilhaber, and above all, Conor Casey. After what he did against Honduras, he had to start, but he was awful. The anti-Jozy: sluggish, lazy, bad touch on the ball, etc.

I am glad for Bornstein. He deserved the goal. And I am glad that this team won the group. They definitely deserved it. The defense had a couple of lapses in teh start of the game, but that was all on the players, especially Onyewu and Boca on the first goal.

We might get a better draw in the WC. The win was sweet because we probably cost CR a chance at the WC after they thumped us over there.

coached spain game better. substitutions not on point bc conor casey blows too much dick. robbie rogers is not good. torres is very legit and i love the way he plays.

there's my cliff notes analysis.

Spain game was the epitome of luck. This game was the opposite, tons of missed chances. Casey was responsible for the biggest one, but he had to play after his game against Honduras.

Hopefully we won't see him much in the future.
