I'm pumped beyond all belief. Will likely have to miss the start because of the LSU baseball game, but I can't wait to get back and take in some sweet American victory.

I hope we slap those bastards tomorrow (and in women's curling too).

I'm stoked that the good guys are in position to be in the top four with a good result in this game.

Screw Canada.

I actually just realized I don't have to miss any. It's not until 6:40 p.m. Central time on MSNBC.

It may not be the only time they meet, but it's going to be a good one. All the pressure is on Canada; especially after their last game. That's the upshot. If the Swiss can take them to the wire, the U.S. is more than capable of doing so as well. It's going to come down to goaltending though. Miller has to play a great game and they need to stay out of the penalty box.

Wow, that is amazing. Talk about a tough interview for Mike Adamle. They should have had Csonka and his amazing mustache instead.

I hope they start Portman tomorrow

I think that was from the first season when Joe Theismann was still there with Adamle.

Unfortunately, I am not an aficionado of the American Gladiators. I just saw some reruns on the USA network in the summer after 5th grade, before I ate my breakfast and went to basketball camp.

I also missed the unintentional comedy champion known as Wolf on the most recent reincarnation of the show because I was either at work or passed out at home minutes after coming from work.

this is going to be HUGE. We've got a Sabre in goal, and he's going against those bastage from across the lake. It's on.

I cannot wait for this game. It won't be an easy win for either team; it's going to be a hard-fought, entertaining game.

The Canadians are more skilled, so IMO the U.S. will need players like Backes, Malone, Kesler, Brown and Langenbrunner to play a physical game and wear down the opposition with the forecheck.

Obviously it will be a great goalie battle too. Brodeur vs. Miller - both goalies will need to play lights out and we all know that they are BOTH sure as hell capable of doing that.

This will be good. GO USA!

Another thing I like about this: each country's fans really come together and support their side.

The NHL rivalries completely go away for 2 weeks and everyone in the U.S. roots for Team USA and supports their country. It doesn't matter what NHL team you support; the Red Wings or Hawks, the Bruins or Flyers...we're all Americans!

This is what it's all about. This will be a great game.

USA! USA! USA!
