BYU is getting jobbed if they come out this way. They absolutely deserve a NY6 bowl bid.

Also good thing ESPN can't try to screw Army like they did last season.

I could see LSU going to Houston, State going to Memphis, and Florida and the SEC doing everything in its power to keep Florida UCF from not playing, maybe put Auburn in the Gaspirila for a Gus Bus reunion. Sending Florida to Birmingham to get run up on by Coog High. For tickets it makes sense to keep UF and Auburn in state. Problem is Aggy, they're good enough to be in Jacksonville, but they're not good enough and lost to Pig and LSU for Orlando.

They're already getting Cincy (G5) and Notre Dame (Independent) in the NY6, and probably don't think BYU would draw as much interest as the other At-Large selections.

Based on this they have UGA, Michigan, Okie Lite, Utah, and Pitt as the P5 Champions. Utah and Pitt have to go in the NY6 as Conference Champs. So you have 2 of the 8 slots taken. Out of Bama, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Notre Dame, Baylor, and Michigan State, who do you leave out for BYU? They aren't leaving Bama, Ohio State, or Notre Dame out. Maybe Baylor? They are the only one listed that is likely to fall behind BYU if they lose the Big 12 Championship Game.

BYU is top 10 and they absolutely need to be in playing in Glendale. Michigan St does not belong in a NY6 Bowl over BYU. BYU has tons of fans and its own network. To say they don't draw is funny.

Now if Coog High wins this weekend, the G5 may not get invited, as Cincy is ineligible due to not being a champion and Coog High may not be slotted high enough.

Baylor is an auto bid into Sugar if they lose, unless they fall behind OU, who will get the bid. I think if oSu wins they move to the top 4

good call

LSU vs Houston and UCF vs Fla make too much sense to happen. flip one of the conf teams

the NY6 is trash this year. non of those games do anything for anyone. we need one final shake up in the rotation this weekend.

There is no chance A&M and NC State play each other in the Gator when they just played in the 2018 Gator.

if we could somehow get

UGA-Michigan
Bama-Ohio ST

in the semifinals i think that would be the four best teams in a playoff

If Iowa beats Michigan, Ohio State would be relegated to the Outback Bowl

Those really aren't that intriguing. Ole Miss/Notre Dame or Utah/Ohio State might be the most interesting of those.

And against Iowa, who won the Big 10 West, while Arkansas finished in a three way tie for 3rd in the SEC West... And the Hogs will likely be favored by 2-3 pts on a neutral field.

I’d flip Kentucky and Arkansas. UK brought a good crowd to the 2019 Citrus and their one win better than Arky. Put Tennessee in the Gator for a better draw as well.

I don't know about you guys but any time you have a chance to go to the Peach Bowl to play Ole Miss on a pre-New Year's Day bowl game, you just gotta turn down $100 million for that opportunity.

Every other prediction I’ve seen is Clemson vs A&M in the Gator. Which probably isn’t very exciting for either fan base since they recently had a home and home.

Honestly I just don't see A&M going to the Gator regardless. Our ticket sales last time were awful and while that may have been partly b/c it was a night game on NYE I just don't see he admin being willing to eat that many tickets again. This year's Gator kicks off at 10am CST on NYE so I doubt we'd sell many tickets again.

IMO A&M will be in either the Music City or Liberty w/MC more likely b/c we somehow still have yet to play a Big 10 team in a bowl as a member of the SEC.

If you want a more detailed explanation for my reasoning I did a post over on tArk. LINK
