Most of the worldwide fans in France are rooting against them.
The word is they are coming off as arrogant assholes, newspapers have written disparaging things about them over there, their lack of sportsmanship, and commented on how US fans dislike how they shite on their own country.
Plus France is the host and people like to see the host do well and plus people want new blood. Everyone is tired of the US and Germany (the only two teams EVER to be ranked #1 in the world by FIFA.)
To date Germany and the United States have been the only two teams to have led the rankings. Since fricking 2003.
That's 16 years of either USA or Germany being #1 world. Time to get some new blood.
France winning would be cool, give that disaster of a country a reason to celebrate.

It honestly doesnt make me angry that they are complaining about how awful they are treated or kneeling for the flag yada yada
However, it is enough to not make me want to watch. Womens soccer sucks. But every 4 years the baw in me watched for some "'merica, frick yeh" pride and smack talk. That angle is kinda lost with this group of players
