Is that accurate? I thought men’s soccer got a much bigger international payout. If it is true that women’s soccer generates more money (not in some cherry picked area), then I can support their complaint. However if they generate less money then the men, they should get paid less with performance bonuses added.

Some of them have roast beef instead of a pie.

The men's World Cup in Russia generated over $6 billion in revenue, with the participating teams sharing $400 million , less than 7% of revenue. Meanwhile, the Women's World Cup is expected to earn $131 million for the full four-year cycle 2019-22 and dole out $30 million to the participating teams

End of Debate...when the Women's World Cup starts generating 6 Billion in revenue...then they will deserve equal pay. This is the same BS argument the WNBA is currently making. Why do we even entertain their arguments? Let me also state again, the men's game has over 100 competitive soccer nations. The women's game cant field 16 competitive countries. Its FAAAAAAR easier for our women to win than it is for our men.

The US women are only good because other countries don't treat their women well. The US women have the best of everything.

So women get a higher revenue share. How sexist of them.

Bingo. I wonder how ESPN and the media would react if the US Men actually manned up and made a case against the women, stating factually, that the women make more money as a percentage than the men? THAT would be awesome. The US Women literally take shots at the men's program by saying things like "we actually win". The irony is that its the US Men that need to be standing up and making and argument about their pay! One of these days, the women's team is going to piss off the men's team and the gloves are going to come off.

The men's World Cup currently generates more money, by far. For context, FIFA earned upwards of $6 billion from the 2018 men's World Cup.

Meanwhile, the women's 2019 World Cup is estimated to earn FIFA about $131 million.

Men hot carrying bricks/bending rebar yet again, while Women are the flaggers for traffic.

The USMNT reps are playing this perfect. Wait until the USWNT agrees to a package and come back to negotiate a 10% higher take. If the reps were smart they’d combine the negotiations. But the NT reps won’t be allowed this chance

No they don't. You simply bought their BS spin. They love to conveniently forget that the USSF pays their freaking Club salaries, but not for the men. They also get health coverage where as the men don't. They get a base salary of $100,000 a year, but the men only get bonuses based on when they play/train.

Exactly. Good post.
