I noticed the same thing on golfnow. I'll ask BJ tomorrow whats up with that. Played yesterday. Greens were still bumply but they are cutting down today and they will be really nice going foward.

well a guy put it to me like this once...
People will spend 4oo bucks on a driver they hit on avg 8-9 times a round... but 50 bucks on something they hit 30-40 times a round.

I gurantee you the majority of people in this thread and ametures in general putt more than 40 times a round.

My PPR are pretty low because I don't hit a ton of greens, but I am also a good putter. On good greens I might have a 3 putt or 2 a round, but I also have several one putts to balance it. I think my last 3 rounds averaged between 29-31.
ETA: and I shoot in the mid to low 90's. I can't find a fairway, or even the golf course, for shite right now.

Eh, I'm usually around 30-32 putts per round.
Had 23 last Sunday.

If you are putting 40 putts a round, you aren't a 4 handicap.
