Again, I edit my posts all the damn time. You can go check my post history. I'd say at least half of them are edited if not more. I took that part out b/c it was essentially the same thing I posted earlier in this thread.

If the national anthem is so sacred to everyone there wouldn't be thousands upon thousands of people paying no attention to it at every single sporting even when it's played. Instead they are fricking around on their phones, getting food, going to the bathroom, taking pictures, finding their seats, and all other kinds of shite.
I've said that exact same thing many times over the years on this site. I'm not trying to hide from it. There are thousands of people at every game who pay no attention to it. If it was that sacred to everyone that wouldn't happen.

Just means we live in a country full of ignorant and spoiled people that either haven't been taught the meaning behind the anthem being played or are so sheltered and blind they don't feel the need to be grateful for the price paid for what they have.

How many regular season NBA games show the anthem on tv?
It is possible I miss it, because I wait 30 min to an hour to skip a few commercial breaks, but I can’t recall seeing it shown outside of the playoffs.

I would never be rude to a nice Sales Rep calling me. They have a tough enough job dealing with all this nonsense. I would just calmly explain why I would not be getting tickets from a franchise that obviously isn't interested in someone like me anymore and thank them for calling me. I would nicely "go off".

They never show the anthem on TV for any sport unless it's the playoffs.
But somehow it's suddenly a big deal if it's not played in a year they have stopped doing any pre game events at all and they will only have 1500 fans in the arena.

Not sure, I know they show it a lot more on locally broadcast games though as the pre game talk is usually wrapping up as the anthem starts up

I actually agree with this. You truly want politics completely removed from sports. That includes removing the National Anthem imo.
Play some pre-game music, announce the players, and just start the game. The end.
I'm cool with it being played during the championships, as well as international competitions.
