It's been rumored for a little bit. Wonder when it comes out who is getting suspended

Of all the things to suspend kids for, a little recreation weed.

I'm not a pot smoker, but this is so fricking weak, to suspend for.

I agree but no matter how many times people say its stupid the players know they can get suspended for it so ultimately it's on them to pass these things. I mean shite dude pipeline workers have to pass these things for every job they get. Its stupid but its life.

Aging and death are a part of life, marijuana tests are part of arbitrary moralities that exist for no good reason.

Assigning it to “life” treats it as something more permanent than it actually is.

It's something people have to deal with right now whether you like it or not. Better?

Uh, yeah...that's an important job.

Carrying the rock on some field for shits and giggles for fans is not.

Can the NCAA suspend players playing for schools in Colorado, California, Mass., Michigan, Nevada, Oregon and Washington too?

I mean smoking cigs is illegal under the age of 21 in California but if the players from Cal buy a pack while playing Florida in Florida is that an NCAA violation?

Maybe they should hold a team vote and see if it’s ok to let them play. Alittle weed has to be worse than beating the living shite out of a woman, right LSU fans?

Still against the rules. If you want to play, you have to follow the rules. I don’t know why it’s so hard for some people to understand. If it’s so arbitrary, just don’t do it.

Lincoln Riley is a genius.
This way, he has an extra excuse why LSU will beat that arse when he interviews and subsequently leaves OU for the Cowboys in the offseason.

LSU kicked one of the best players in college football off the team for literally the same thing this thread is about

I agree, but I have no sympathy for someone who gets popped knowing full well it’s a possibility. There’s nothing wrong with a little weed, but it’s not worth jeopardizing your future over.
