Didn't Teemu play as an Av with Kariya?

I love how Bettman gets booed everywhere at anytime.

The Hawks are playing like the old Flames tonight great offense with some nastiness in their checking.

You can always tell which towns are fairweather when he shows up and they cheer.

Ironsides,

It doesn't look like the Rags are slowing down any, with the sweep in California. I am prepared for the fall, but hoping they kick these divisional games in the next week with Wins.

They'll slow down this week I love them but have learned to be a realist since the Bernie Nicholls days. This week we have:
- Islanders
- Bruins
- Columbus
- Pittsburgh

I'll be happy with 2-2 coming out of this. The Islanders will be tough; it's winnable. I give it a 50/50 shot.

With the Bruins, it's too easy to get pushed around. You have to hope for a clean game. We're talking about the Bruins though so that won't happen. You have a bench full of pussies when your three toughest guys are Tanner Glass, Chris Krieder, and Kevin Klein. That's who the Rangers are. Anyways, I can see the Bruins winning this one, especially if the Islanders win. Basically they'll split this part of the schedule 50/50.

Columbus (aka the 2010 NY Rangers). Columbus is a dangerous team and now they are healthy. They aren't completely healthy yet. Another 50/50 shot.

Penguins: We'll lose this one I'm afraid. The Rangers only beat the Penguins when it matters in the playoffs.

The Rangers are 8-19 in the playoffs against the Pens, even a blind squirrel finds a nut every rare once in awhile

I don't know if the Rangers are ever gonna cool off. I mean, logically, they will. But I also had this week as the week they fell back to earth. Instead, they went 3-0 on a western road trip which is nearly impossible to do. They are simply playing out of their gourds right now.

At least this week they'll play the Isles and soon the Pens, so as long as they aren't 3-pointers, the Caps can gain some ground on SOMEONE if they keep winning. It's stunning how well the top 4 of the Metro are all playing. All four are on a 100-point pace.

Seriously? If it doesn't happen now, it'll happen in March/April.

Well shite man, if I posted 10, it would be 5-7. That doesn't help my homer-arse argument does it?

You only need to get Horny for the playoffs. You'll be fine.

Per Mark Madden, Olli Maatta has been shut down for the season. Absolutely hate it for the kid.

It is indeed. He's been a talking head for Pittsburgh sports radio basically since WCW went under.
