Lots of constantly changing line combos (real issue is that Laich and Wilson are nursing injuries). Guys are moving all over, but he does have a basic line combo:

Ovie-Backs- someone else
MoJo-Burakovski-someone else
Chimmer-someone else-Ward
O'Brien-someone else-Latta

He seems to have pairs he tries to keep together (though he is willing to split them), and find guys to fill in the slots. Having Fehr and Laich, both of whom are Swiss Army knives, allows him to mix and match lots of ways. Those two guys I think have played on every line and have played all three forward positions.

Stars find a way to get rid of Gonchar and clear of $3.5m in cap space. Traded in to Montreal for Moen. Nill has to be thinking of something..

Probably thinking of how Moen is a solid penalty killer and how Dallas' PK% is in the bottom five. Good on them for getting rid of Gonchar; he's way past his prime :)

Changes were needed - Dallas is dead last in the conference behind Edmonton (Oil Change!) after making those big off season splashes. No excuses, and the arena is only 86% full.

As a Habs fan, I'm not enamored with Moen so this doesn't bother me a ton.

However, I don't particularly care for reducing some of our young Dmen's ice time (or roster spot for that matter) for a 40 year old injury prone guy IMO

Pens recall Beau Bennett from his rehab assignment.

Not sure if he'll make his season debut tonight yet or not though.

Pens about to get even deeper.

Dallas has real issues on its blueline which their offense sort of covers up. But when they don't score 4 goals or Kari isn't playing lights out, it really shows its face. A lot of kids, so it should eventually work itself out, but it takes a long time for prospects on defense to develop.

I do not like trading Moen. But I think it's an end to a mean. I am hoping to get another Blueliner and a scorer by end of January.

I think Tokarski gets shipped unfortunately as that's what it will take.

Damn, I knew it was inevitable the Pens would lay an egg one game on the back end of this 5 game road trip, tonight is that night.

I hope you're right. I think a few of them have serious potential, but I'm starting to get frustrated with Dillon. Turnovers, poor body control, etc. etc. The Stars are in last place, but sloppy play in the back half of 3rd periods has probably directly cost them 4 or 5 games already. Still plenty of time to get it together and go on a run. 7 losses in a row, can't really get any worse can it?

Blues up 1-0 at 1st intermission. Lohtera with a goal on a beautiful drop pass from Tarasenko (SO tells me I need to watch him).

Anyone know if Oshie is hurt? I haven't heard his name all night.

Been out over a week due to a concussion versus Dallas.

Backes also originally reported to have a concussion from that game

Don't remember, oshue was pushed from behind aND went head first into the goal post.

Backes was interfered with while he wasn't looking, off balance, fell, hit head on ice

Schwartz-lehtera-Tarasenko line is absolutely magical right now. Single handedly carrying this team

Don't even get me started on Backes and Oshie

For the minutes they play, the pp minutes they play, they are grossly overrated by Blues fans. To the point that i want to throw up.
