Niemi and Cam Ward have rings

See but that's the difference, those guys suck. Ward has been awful for years, one of the worst in the league, and Niemi is a backup.

Fleury is still starting and leading the league in wins.

It's one thing to have a magical cup run then return to being shite every year after that, not the case with MAF.

Also, MAF had a .908 Save % in the year they won the Cup. Which as you've pointed out numerous times, is really awful and would qualify as "statistically the worst postseason of any starting netminder in the playoffs" from last year.

Hmmmm

Yeah but you see, his .878% against Washington was all that was from.

Unfortunately for you, that .922%, .924%, and .913% in other 3 series was why we won the Cup.

Again, without Crosby and Malkin he wouldn't have shite. He's a middle of the pack goaltender. Great in the regular season, completely pedestrian when it counts.

Those guys don't play defense, his save percentage has little to do with either of those guys. ACTUALLY, our defense has been some of the worst in the league for years. Offense first, and second for that matter, then defense.

No, that's Bobrovsky. Like last year. See, Fleury actually was better, and beat him because of it. One goalie is simply better than the other when it matters.

Where did I ever say Bob isn't middle of the pack as well? That's an assumption you are making. But as you show over and over, reading comprehension is not your strong suit.

Niemi is a backup.

Niemi has gotten the majority of his team's starts the past 5 seasons. So, no. He's not. Also, his Sv % the past five seasons, followed by his postseason Sv %

912 910
920 896
915 914
924 930
913 884

Here's Fleury:

905 891
918 899
913 834
916 883
915 915

Last season was the only time MAF had a higher Sv % than Niemi in the regular season as well as the only time he's had a higher one in the playoffs. Every other year in the past five, Niemi has outperformed MAF (then again, Fleury's only had a Sv % above 90% once in the playoffs in the past five seasons, which is a pretty low bar).

Which means that this career backup, as you call him, is a better goalie than Fleury.

That's why I've ran circles around you in this thread on anything hockey related.

Also, its comical that you don't think puck possession or goal scoring has an impact on the goalie or how other teams have to strategize.

Watching this west coast feed of Kings/Blues and they keep showing all these great chains that don't exist here. Shakey's. Jack in the Box. If they show In and Out Burger I'm gonna be pissed.

He's won at every level. If he was as bad as you say he woulda been gone a long time ago. Your personal hatred of him is blinding you.

The Blues and Kings are going to overtime. We had so many chances in that period, but we just couldn't get it by Quick.

This has been a great game, despite the lack of scoring.
