No matter the result of this tournament, Djokovic will move to #7 in the world following Wimbledon. And as of today, he's not allowed to enter the United States for the US Open.

What in the world? I did not know the U.S. travel thing.
- Hosed out of Wimbledon 2020 due to COVID cancellation.
- Hosed out of U.S. Open 2020 for dumb ejection.
- Hosed out of Aussie Open 2022 due to ridiculousness.
That is kind of why I want him to get the majors record.

The US lifted some sort of travel ban months ago and I thought he would be good for the US Open at that point, but apparently not.

I think he will regardless. And the fact that Nadal has gotten to 22 will only bump Djokovic's end total even higher.
I think if Nadal would have stayed at 20 or 21, Djokovic would have gotten to 22 or 23 and lost some of his edge. That's just my opinion, though. Now that Nadal has extended it would not shock me if Novak gets to 25.
