Dang, I thought we were done with linespeople and reviews. I guess not.

I think this kid might get him today. His defense is pretty fantastic.

This Shapovalov is a treasure. I hope he never retires.

Same here but it’s Wimbledon so I guess “muh tradition”

Cerundolo wasted four or five BPs to go up two breaks and Rafa took over after that.

Yeah that broke him.
I was pretty impressed with that kid. Rafa was missing his cross court backhand a bunch so definitely more errors than normal, but I think part of that was due to Cerundolo really making him work to win points. He almost cracked the top 40 earlier this year, so he's got some game for sure.

Speaking on Nadal... his serve and his volley really are big weapons here. If he can make it through the first 2 or 3 rounds I think he will make it pretty deep. Now that the field has been so depleted, I think he can beat anyone besides Novak.
However, it would also not shock me if he lost to Berankis in the next round.

Meanwhile, NK wins a 5-setter. Sonego wins a 5-setter.
Cressy wins a long 3rd set tiebreak over FAA to go ahead in that match. Shapo in a 3rd set tiebreak as we speak.
Some exciting matches going on today on the bottom half of the men's draw.

Why does Serena have electrical tape on her face?

I have a crazy prediction for the final and it involves a Brit winning
Cameron Norrie defeats Stefanos Tsitsipas

My hot take would be that it's more likely Norrie makes the final than Shitty, even tho Norrie is on Djokovic's side.
Just looking at the draw, Norrie should be the favorite to reach the semis out of his quarter.

Dosent shitsi suck on grass? He went down 1st round last year

He has a good all court game, but I think his long and loopy strokes are a detriment. He probably likes better footing, too. With this weak field, he has a great opportunity. But, Thompson will give him trouble and playing Nick is a coin flip.

Then the winner of RBA/Shapo in the 4th round maybe. He was handed the worst draw possible and it doesn't look like it will fall apart in his quarter (besides maybe Shapo).
