I bet I have seen him play four or five times in person. It's terrible. A couple of those were against other big servers with poor returns like Raonic and Lopez, which made for no contrast in styles. I saw him in Cincy against Dimitrov and the crowd was pumped up for him because

Yeah, I thought he was going to dump that 4-3 game. Murray was acting like a clown. I hate Isner's game, but glad he won.

I wonder if playing doubles as much as he did in the spring helped Isner’s net game, because his hands were phenomenal when I watched today.
