UNC and Belicheck have a pretty easy schedule in 2025

if they can get by tcu week 1. Ironically that is the same school that made prime and sheduer look good. but after that pretty easy with a showdown with clemson at chapel hill then a trip to cal. im sure a team or 2 will be better than they are supposed to be but its very Miami-ish on paper. if the home field got them to stun clemson, I could see a 2 loss season which I think would far exceed what people believe right now. I do not expect BB TO LOSE anymore than 3 ball games.

A 9-3 season would thrill UNC fans as that would be their best season in 10 years since 2015. I don’t know enough about their roster or players this season, but I too see a 9-3 type of year.
A lot of eyes will be on UNC this year regardless. If they win 9-10 games it’s going to make for a good story.

2022 wasn’t bad, UNC went to ACC championship and Dabo out coached Mack, benching Ugialeilei at half.

They had a 9-3 regular season in 2022. They just had the misfortune of winning the division so they had to play a real team in the conference title and the bowl game. 9-3 this season would probably miss the conference title game so they wouldn't have that loss.

They were 6-6 last year with a similar dogshit schedule, and 2 of those losses they had the lead in the last 30 seconds of the game. If the D just made 1 extra stop in each game, they would have been 8-4 and Mack is still there.

People keep saying this. But hasn’t their schedule been pretty easy for the last few years?

They also were down bad enough that they went into the season with Max Johnson starting then lost him. If they win 9 it'll be treated like a big deal but it'll mostly be thanks to the schedule.

It has been said since since Mack's first stint at UNC. They get a manageable schedule, they sometimes get ranked preseason, and people jump on the "darkhorse" bandwagon. Then they lose 4 or 5 games, and end up in the Belk Bowl.

quote:yeah but im giving belicheck some credit here that he will at least have a team that is prepared to play well. I actually think his style might translate well expecially against these lower competitions but will he have an offense?

Don’t you think you could have posted their schedule?!

They will struggle to win 6 games.

There is not a lot separating UNC talent-wise from the mid level ACC teams on their schedule. They could easily lose to anyone on their schedule.

Yep & even Mack Brown managed to get 6 wins at worst.
-1.5 favorites vs TCU in game 1
o7.5wins at +110
I’d be shocked if they finish worse than 8-4
5 games in a row against California, Virginia, Syracuse, Stanford, wake Forest is a treat
