First two I've seen, I'm sure they'll be a lot more. Can't fault them, most of these bowl games have become meaningless to players.

Ed Oliver is another.

Ed Oliver officially announced a few days ago

I'm curious what the trend is the past 4 years for projected top 20 players.

Low character players will choose money over memories every time

Why would Rashan Gary want to go lose another bowl game?

He's already lost enough to Ohio State for a lifetime.

Good for them. Have no issue with guys taking a meaningless game to save their health

No wonder LSU and Michigan got a combined 136 pts dropped on them the last game. Guys like them had already checked out mentally and quit on their team.

Choosing to avoid a memory of a major injury that makes them miss out on millions of dollars.

I can’t blame them. For most people that’s life changing money that can extend to future generations.

Assuming they don’t blow it all on jewelry and cars.

Doubtful.

Plenty of high character guys went on to play in thier bowl game and it worked out just fine.

Most of these bowl skippers are not good people and likely will not be good pros.

I don't blame any of these players

You gave the University 3/4 years of your blood and sweat, now it's your time. Bowl games are nearly all ESPN's property, f' them.

As VABuckeye posted the other day, Haskins is the most interesting one. Can he improve his stock/profile enough with a great Rose Bowl performance to the point that it's worth it to play?
