Interesting note, Tech played NIU in the 2008 Indy Bowl. Could meet again in Detroit.

I believe it. There's no way they would accept a bowl game against ULM. It sucks though, I would have loved to watch that.

Makes me cringe to see LSU fans bashing the Independence Bowl. We were so damn happy to be there during the Denardo years.
A couple state schools had great years and are playing in a bowl game. I don't care what it's called. Congrats to them!
