Even throwing out the results it made no sense to dump Vincent at the time.

Your frustrations are misguided. You must've forgotten that Keith Richard still coaches at ULM. So how many losses ULM is he going to rack up before he retires?

I for one am happy that ULM is having success. They have a good flash about once every decade. Hawks would destroy Tech right now.

2016?

I believe this was 2013. I know Augustine Rubit was still playing for the Jags, so it had to have been before his last year which was 2014.

Ahh… so I imagine yall beat the tar out of us then. I was there from 13-17. That 16 year was a lot of fun. There was a PG yall had that the student section got under his skin pretty good when yall played at fant. Can’t remember his name but dude was ready to come swinging at one point. We probably deserved it.

I'm sure they'd support ULM if LSU was arse this season. ??

I went.to NLU in the early 90s when they were very good and LSU sucked. We would tailgate in The Grove and listen to LSU get beat while watching the game from the endzone.

always heard, "we'll support ULM when they are good" well I haven't seen post from those people yet.
. I am a NLU grad and ULM supporter. I love LSU and don’t see a conflict. Let’s be honest, they aren’t competing for any of the same goals.

If ULM plays LSU football in the regular season I would pull for LSU. A loss to ULM ruins seasons.

If LSU played ULM for a national championship, I would be a Warhawk fan. But again, we all know that is never happening.

This is less true than it used to be… one G5 fanbase will be conflicted as hell when they’re in the CFP in the Final 12 for a natty, maybe even against their “other” team

The SEC and LSU sure have spent a lot of money for people to just think their games are more significant…

maybe. But they are. When a loss to a lesser team ruins a season they are more impactful. ULM lose to Texas and all their goals and hopes are still alive.

One program is judged on beating Troy and Arkansas State. The other is based on beating Bama and UGA.

I have no shame in my position or the joy achieved when each program is successful. To really muddy waters my nephew plays for ULL.
