Louisiana is one state with so many millions of dollars. There won't be a billion dollars dropping on the state just because.
All those tens of millions going to LSU will NOT be going to other Universities and colleges in the state nor will the numbers of football fans suddenly multiply and that among the now visible folks who have ten thousand dollar bills to drop in the shrimp boot that gets passed around. ( I know they don't pass it, but what would be the LA equivalent of a ten gallon hat?)

Bottom line is Jay Walker and ULL fans hate LSU. They are on the attack because they know LSU is now aligned with one of the best coaches in college football. They are jealous and sickened by the fact LSU got a damn good coach.

I think you missed the point. The LSU coaching hire has nothing to do with ULL yet they sure are taking it hard and making multiple posts about it. This is a coach everyone wanted. I could have included other ULL fans but these held more weight. While it’s true the podcast is media those guys are fans. And the ULL voice guy commenting on LSU coach is also comical. I didn’t realize he was so hated by his own though.
