26 wins in 2+ years including 2 bowl wins for a team that couldn't win more than 6 games in a year.

The only 2 sunbelt coaches that have ever moved up were the 2 from Ark State. They each had prior relationships with the schools to which they went.
The one question I would have with Hud (and other sunbelt coaches) is whether the recruiting can translate to an upper level league.

I guess the cajuns need to go to C-USA. But really, the only real reason to do that is for the more diverse bowl opportunities.

Even if the cajuns go to CUSA, most of their fans would rather play SW Missouri State in NOLA than play northern Illinois in mobile

HUD was State's ace recruiter. The 2011 class fell from a top 15-20 class to shite after he left.

Hud's best win is any OOC away game win he has. In Bustle's tenure, I think we won one ooc away game (Houston).

What's your point? How's that working out for ULM?

I'd rather winning consistently

]ironic you say that, because beating ULM last year is ULL's best win in the past 3 years.

sportsline had Georgia State at 126

I would have a team who has lost 22 straight games at 126 out of 126.

San Diego State was probably the biggest win. It was the first bowl win and that got lots of attention for the program. It changed the minds of many people about what was possible.
He basically shook up the administration and let them know that they were sitting on a gold mine and had been for years. Now UL is starting to live up to the potential that was there for a long time, but never realized. Expect more in the future, whether or not he decides to stay.
