Game started out pretty even first half, then was all UHigh in the second. From listening to the broadcast, sounds like UH is a junior laden team and should be back in the dome and favored to win it all in 2018.

Might want to go a bit further back. My two sons' teams during their combined 5 years in the playoffs were knocked out by Curtis 3 times (twice@Curtis, once in the Dome), Evangel (@Evangel) and Calvary (@Calvary), all back when the big boy schools forced all those teams to play down in classification. I wouldn't say those teams were exactly garbage.

Yeah but the Catholic offense is trash in these playoffs.

Coach J.T. Curtis. Over 560 wins. Less than 70 losses. 26 state titles. 1 national championship.

UHigh

Then you can argue Catholic, Zachary, Karr, DLS, are all in the mix afterwards.

I damned sure wouldn't put sallies in that mix

I'll say like many said about JC all those years in lower classes

He grind of playing 5a All year takes it's toll I don't thin U has the depth to have played 5a all year. Both Z and C got significantly better as the year went on.

87 shaw lost 34-0 early in the year to st aug but won state in the highest class

But I'd put u z and c in the same sentence....that's having seen a
L 3 field level

Dls is not one of the 3-5 best I. 3a much less he state heck they would have been 3rd best in uhigh west fel district.... In 3a u Kaplan sterlington and rich wood were better

He recruiting trail social media blaster spread far too much hype about team that they go to watch just one player rather than the full team effort. And the computer ranking are obvious bs but even he lwsa polls the guys voting only see one game then that hey go fff tweets and Instagram from guys that don't even know the HS rules and get confused by basic stuff.....it's not
Ike days past.....

At this point, it's pretty hard to argue against this. Uhigh defeated three upper division state champs on the way to winning their own state championship against the team ranked #1 all season.

You might be surprised to know how many of the Uhigh players are NOT recruits.
The past few years they have had classes loaded with solid homegrown athletes to go along with just a handful of outstanding 'new kids'.

UHigh's offense came through like they have every game...
but it's been their DEFENSE that has been dominant all season.
Seniors Jack Hamilton, Heath Pinell, and Michael Martin were lights out all year, and they have more talented juniors and sophomores than you can count.
If I were a betting man, I'd look for them in the dome again 2018.
