Agreed. It's the doctor's job to protect the fighter from himself and tonight that doctor failed. It hurts the doctor's case that he immediately said no after the eye tracking test. The doctor immediately knew he couldn't track and said now.
I could give some leeway if it was ambiguous and took the doctor a few seconds to think about it, but he knew immediately.

He is way too small for lightweight even though he can beat a lot of guys on skill. Islam would fricking wreck him at 155 and it would be laughable at 170

I thought Gaethje was def done after the body shots in the second round, not sure why Ilia didn’t finish him off then instead of going for the submission.

Gotta feel like yes a KO is badass, but when you beat a guy’s arse so badly that he has to throw the towel, you gotta feel like like you completely fricked your opponent up.
