I think coverage begins at 6PM CT

I figured they might have some good pre-show coverage & then main event begins at 7PM CT

Could be a long night with weather delays

This would be a logistical nightmare. What happens if a lightning strike happens in the middle of a round?

If there’s a lightning strike within 8 miles, it’s an automatic 30 minute pause

I don’t think they will start a fight if there is weather in the area. Although it can be unpredictable

Currently It looks like there will be 1 big storm rolling through at 9pm ET so hopefully just 1 big delay & not multiple

Topuria is a wrecking ball. Obviously, he is deadly accurate and punches like Sonny Liston. He has fairly good takedown defense as well so hard to score points that way so he has the clear advantage in this fight on all sides.

I am pulling for Gaethje, but he is going to have to be cautious brawling with this guy. Topuria and Alex hit so hard so it will be interesting to see the strategies that the fighters will employ against them to try to win. Love Gaethje, but man he is going up against it tonight, but what an upset it could be, I just have to say it is not good odds for him. Topuria is a one of one.

Certain people want so badly for this event to fail.

Yes a weather channel reporting on swarms of mosquitoes & gnats kind of ridiculous

Ideally I think they start at 7PM CT, get through 1 or 2 fights, delay, & then finish

I’m more worried about it affecting the quality of fights over a delay tbh. A constant drizzle, along with the heat and humidity will likely have an impact even if there’s no delay.

I'd love to see Gaethje win, but I just don't see it happening, at all.

Weather channel said 30mph winds and mosquito swarms are going to ravage the event

They’re being dramatic about the heat. It will be in the 80s at beginning of event. The storm coming through will actually cool it off a bit

Accuweather still saying the thunderstorm likely happens late afternoon.

The claw / roof thing is curved and covers the octagon, even if there were showers, it looks like not a lot of rain would get to the fighters.

Only delays for lightning like Dana said. So maybe we have a card that goes late like old times.

There is definitely some bad weather in the area. Based on the radar it looks like it could go rather way there are some big cells it appears. General direction toward dc.

You ever gone for a run in 82 degrees with a 69 dew point?
