It's all about making that cash. If McGregor isn't deserving, then Aldo will make him look foolish. He'll go away rich and depending on how bad Aldo beats him maybe he'll walk away to never return, or he'll put up a good fight and stay active and get a rematch w/in a year or two.
Or McGregor wins the belt and goes on a tear defending the belt and jumps up a weight class like he says he'll do and tear through that division too.
McGregor vs Lamas or Mendes is still going to be huge in Ireland. Edgar obviously deserves the Aldo rematch.

Saw your email address on another post.
Will send you a message to that account when I get a chance (if that isn't too weird).
We knew one another back in the day and knew a lot of the same people. Would be fun to catch up.
About your offer, I could probably still skulldrag you.

Pettis vs Dos Anjos is not going to draw huge in Dallas (Lawler vs Hendricks in Dallas was the largest US crowd in history for UFC); hopefully it'll have a strong undercard; hearing Rampage vs Shogun or Hendo on undercard

I agree. Edgar is a monster right now. I think we're only starting to see his best.

Didn't cerrone just fight?

Yeah, like every other week the last half decade or so

Ready to see this fight on such short notice.. I like both guys, don't know who to go for here..

How about the exciting fighter who does badass shite every single day. Unless you like the boring decision fighter who shoves his religion and tooth-fairy gods in your face every fight.

You alright buddy? Do you need someone to talk to? I can listen if you need to get something off your chest man...
Back to your answer though, I do enjoy the action packed butt kicking fight and ending it with an exclamation point!

Still a good fight, but I was looking forward to Eddie getting his first UFC win vs Bendo.

surprising so quick, but he took all of zero damage on Sat. night.

Cerrone going to get killed just like every other time he's stepped up to the elite level

How is it they can't find a top ten guy for McGreggor to fight before the title? I want to see him fight a legit wrestler, like Edgar, Mendes or Lentz.
For a number-one contender spot, I think he should have to face at least someone in the top ten.
And how in the hell does Khabib not get a title shot? He beat Dos Anjos and Dos Anjos is fighting for the title? What is the deal with him? Has he been hurt a lot? I know he missed weight once then talked a lot of shite.

Really hoping Uriah Hall can keep building off the last 2 wins. All the talent in the world is there, he just needs to put it together. The Hall fights in TUF were must see TV.
