Robbery vs Yan, gets title shot
Gets owned by Merab, gets a rematch title shot
Robbery vs Song, probably gets a tithe shot.

Don’t think that is an egregious call. First round was close. Seam definitely had him in strikes but gave up the takedown.

Yeah I think it was close enough that the fact he dominated the Third seemed reasonable for him to win

He may get a title fight, but he's nor going to sniff winning it again.

Damage-wise, Sean looks fine and he had Song bloodied up.

O’Malley is a shade of his prior self. Afraid he’ll get worked against better comp

I thought Sean won the first and third rounds. Song’s plan should have been to go to the ground the whole fight. Merab showed that’s the game plan to beat him.

Was that cult leader Jared Leto?

another close fight and it definitely could have gone either way, and for that reason... it's pretty safe to say that the UFC did what was best for business and gave it to O'Malley.

Eh, O'Malley legit won 1 and 3. I don't see that one as too egregious.

They wanted him to be the next McGregor so bad but he's not that good. McGregor atleast fought good talent and won decisively (Even if the top 3 guys ducked each other throughout their prime and he mainly won against aging/ past prime stars).
Now they hope Paddy can be that guy.

Does Gaethje retire if he loses?
Sounds like the music from Dark Knight hahah.

quote:hard to say he won round 1 easily. Song did some significant damage to Sean's legs in the first round and got a takedown. He took virtually no damage that round, despite being eeked out on number of significant strikes.

If damage is really the first criteria, Song won the first round.

Phew. We got a walkout. Crisis averted.

It’s gonna be tough for Justin. Paddy may look goofy but he’s a bad man.

Paddy walkouts are some of the best ever
