Yep that fooker was toast and not bread. He gets weaker as a fight goes along. Poirier gets stronger. And Poirier kicked his arse in the first round. It would have gotten worse.
The broken leg was the best thing that could have happened for the washed up Irish dude.
Now he has an excuse for getting his arse kicked. He may never be back though, but he can go out with himself thinking he is still a winner.

And fwiw, Poirier likely would have won in the second round. But he’s acting like he knocked him out when that’s clearly not what happen. McGregor himself would rather lose cleanly than on some bullshite like that. Hell he knew he wasn’t winning against Mayweather and was going to take a L in the long run but was still mad when the fight was stopped.
