Why the hell did McGregor go for a damn takedown. He was winning until that point.

Yeah he was getting punished by Diaz. Going to the ground was all he had left beside running away before the bell rang.

Lulz at the Diaz lovers. He was complety out classed. Stupid mistakes and lack of cardio lost this fight. The better fighter lost tonight.

Yea Conor was destroying him then got cocky with him dropping his hands the whole 2nd round.

This might sound crazy, but I think this was the best thing that could've happened to him.

Think gsp vs serra 1,and what gsp career did afterwards. I think Conors will Parallel that, he is that talented.

man I wanted to see rda/mac, but I'm afraid he'll go back down in his next couple of fights.

Yeah, Conor didn't really get a good shot on him in the first, Diaz's face just likes to bleed.

McGregor may have been a fiction...that was embarrassing. Diaz got murdered by Dos Anjos and has lost 10 pro fights!

Nate wins this fight but does not win a belt. Why should Nate get to fight Anjos again when he was completely outclassed 6 months ago.

Chael just said it could've been GSP at 200 if Conor won

What's Dana gonna do for Nate now?

sweet sweet revenge for Nate. No less than 2 years ago Dana was stringing Nate along, slow playing fights, low-balling contracts and ignoring his requests for better fights and better payouts.

Nate was on the brink of being cut but he had a few fights left on his contract the UFC had to honor, ironically this McGregor fights as one of those and Nate just derailed the Irish Invasion hype train.

Conor matches up better with RDA. Diaz's boxing is too good to get snuck in the first. Conor missed on all his KO shots in the first and wore himself out while doing so.

he was definitely gassed.

If getting whacked by some hard Diaz shots means "he was gassed," then ok. I didn't see him slowing down with cardio, I saw him get hit hard. But then again, I have been drinking, so you might be 100% correct.

This wasn't about being gassed out or making a mistake. It was mcg being unable to handle the power of diaz's left hook.

Which he landed 3 times within that round and buckled his knees every time. Thats often the difference in weight classes and why McG will go back down and stay where he belongs.

Diaz's are pricks but fricking killers.

McGregor dominated /outclassed Diaz, his arrogance beat him more than Nate did.

You can't think you can drop your hands at that level and get away with it.

As much as I would have loved to have seen GSP back in the octagon, that wouldn't have been much of a fight. GSP would have annihilated McGregor with one takedown. McGregor looked absolutely helpless when he was on the mat.

Nate started kicking Conor's fricking arse. Landed about 10 solid shots.

Conor PANIC WRESTLED

Oh and Nate could have knocked his bum arse out but decided to take mercy and just choke that flinching bitch out

In retrospect it was a nightmare match up for Connor

Nate was bigger, has Great boxing, solid chin, stamina, and sick ground game
