UCF quarterback McKenzie Milton is transferring, the program announced Thursday morning. Milton is just two years removed from suffering a gruesome leg injury in UCF’s final game of the 2018 season. Milton officially entered the transfer portal an hour after his announcement, sources told 247Sports.

Milton returned to running the scout team in practice in October, a big step in his recovery for an injury that almost caused him to have his leg amputated. During an October interview with ESPN, Milton talked about his health and his comeback to the gridiron.
"This is the most fun I've had in two years, being out there with the guys, going up against some good competition and lighting a fire under their butt," said Milton. "I'm making throws on the move, I'm changing direction not thinking twice about it. I feel normal."

Nebraska is the correct answer. He was a stud before. But highly doubt he can move like he used to.

*if healthy*

I'd love to have him as a backup for when Brennan inevitably gets injured again but if he's healthy, I'm sure he's not looking to land somewhere he'll be a backup.

if he comes to LSU he’s not coming to be a backup. Brennan would be the next guy in the portal

Arkansas seems like a good fit as well with Kendall Briles there.

Same.

G5 guys like him and Taysom Hill seem like they're in college for a decade.

That’s what happens when you get Heisman votes as sophomore and then have to take 2 years to rehab an injury.

Hope he lands in a good spot. Nebraska would be a lot of pressure and the QB gets hit a lot in that offense. And he’s already made Frost enough money.

I hope for his sake it's one of the Historically Disabled Colleges and Universities...

If I spent 2 years rehabbing an injury that almost cost me a limb, Nebraska is the last school I’m looking at

I doubt he would come here. He would never see the field.

He realized he can't win a heisman at UCF. Which is true. Although, he wouldn’t have gotten Heisman votes at a bigger school that plays a good schedule.

Maybe true. When you’ve won a national championship the Heisman is all that’s left to accomplish.
