At this point, it seems ridiculous that UCF has to state its case after putting together a 23-game winning streak that is the longest in the nation.

I don't remember people giving Miami this much grief for playing in the Big East all those years in the 90s.

Let them in the playoff

Big East was a lot better back then IIRC. Plus they played a stout FSU team every year

@displacedBuckeye and if it's the buckeyes you would put them in over your team?

This is UCF's biggest obstacle this year.

If you have undefeated Alabama, Clemson, and Notre Dame that's 3 no brainers.

You gonna leave out 1 loss Big Ten Champ Michigan (who lost to playoff bound ND) for UCF?

If they are undefeated on Selection Sunday, they should be the #4 seed. Back-to-back undefeated seasons is impressive no matter what conference you play in.

And lets face it, unless Tua is out, who the #4 seed is is irrelevant. They will be, at best, a 2 touchdown underdog to Alabama.

What a terrible argument

Comparing the old Big East to the AAC is dishonest as frick

The argument is (or should be) more about changing the system than it is UCF making it under the current system. I love my school, but it's hard to reconcile our schedule with a 4-team system.

Hats off to my fellow alumni in Orlando though. Tons of people showed up to GameDay and the stadium was packed. Incredible to see compared to what the program was when I was there. It's been a long road building support and buy-in from the area.

And half of those wins are completely irrelevant to this season

Probably bc Miami was scheduling Florida State, Penn St, Notre Dame, etc on top of their Big East schedule.

Miami played Notre Dame once in the 90s, and they weren't in the Big East at that time. They played Penn State three times, and only one of those teams was good. I'll give you Florida State.

As usual, you're full of shite.

But that should surprise no one.

Come on. We're waiting for one of those clever replies of yours.
