It's shocking the kids that U High has now. I'm talking character, not talent. We have played both Madison Prep and Uhigh this year. The Madison Prep kids were much more polite and better sportsmen.

U-High gets a lot of unnecessary hate but you are correct about this.

U High has given up scholastic integrity to buy wins. The roster is filled with kids who in past years would not have been able to get into the school.

You sure cause Big Baby got in like 20+ years ago.

Should probably change the title. It isn't recruiting violations. It's eligibility issues.

Yes you are right it was 11 I think. Still it’s the same timeline as most have mentioned. Tim Williams and crew started that year.

Will Uhigh have enough points to sneak in to playoffs? Now Sitting at 27 ( top 24 in) with only a 4-5 port Allen team left to play

23,24,25, & 26 will all lose this week. I haven’t done the math, but I wouldn’t be shocked if they jump to 24.

Would hate that for Shaw in round 2.

Well Newman set the precedent last year in basketball. All U-High has to do is take some of Gordon's money, sue LHSAA . . wins will be restored and no other repercussions.

Is there someplace with people supplying actual information about this investigation? I know it’s the MSB but four pages in there is nothing

Isn't that pretty much all of the privates in BR now? I mean why would any of those kids want to attend an EBR school? They will never get the same level of coaching as they might get at Uhigh, Dunham, Catholic, etc. Chance of going D1 are amplified at a private.

how has Zachary avoided scrutiny

Has Zachary paid any players or had a local personal injury lawyer get football players admitted to Zachary that I don’t know about?

I mean, I’m asking. Guy apparently has something where Zachary should be under scrutiny. The only thing I’ve ever seen would be the stuff about Trey Dez - which LHSAA cleared him for football but not basketball. And then WM fans are convinced the referees at a game a few years back cost them the game.

Well obviously if there was stuff people knew about they would be looking into it.

But to act like schools don’t pay players is silly

That he came to Zachary in particular? I think we can all agree he did the right thing not sitting behind Howard for 3 years.

As far Zachary they just got through sending two QBs to division 1 schools in Lindsey Scott (LSU) and Keilon Brown (Memphis). He got to throw to Chris Hilton at least one year.

Obviously I can’t sit here and say I know with certainty why the moved to Zachary in particular but he could have seen it as a playing time, exposure and developmental move.
