He has regressed from last year, and as a 26 yr old, he shouldn't be.

I was just having the same conversation with a guy at the office. Last seaosn we were saying that if he could just pick up his offense a little that he could be a franchise type center. But this year, I have been shaking my head every time i see him on the court. His injury was almost a bleessing to this team.

I loathe his attitude and negative energy. He just simply isnt that good

Couldn't have said it better.

slow down big guy, with 10 of the next 15 on the road, the hornets could be on the outside looking in with >20 games to go.

Phoenix and NOLJA will be fighting each other for the 9th spot.

Look i understand the reasoning for the trade. They have no money. Thats fine. But they got nothing in return, I mean nothing. These guys are backups in the NBA. Chandler is a starting C in this league.

meh. PER's:

tyson: 14.2
wilcox: 13.5
smith: 13.4

this isn't a huge deal IMO. although i'm wondering what the hornets are going to do next season now for a C

STANDINGS

There are 9 teams vying for 8 spots. The Suns are giving up on this season even more than the Hornets. I wouldn't say the playoffs are a given, but they are pretty likely since it looks like the Suns are on the verge of falling apart.

i wouldn't write the suns out yet. it looks like they're going to try to bring back their uptempo style and keep both amare and shaq

my initial comment: "good short term fix"

we're not re-signing these guys. we are trading chandler to get his contract off the books

next year we'll have no chandler, no smith, and no wilcox.

I disagree, the Suns aren't giving up Amare by any means, they are asking for a lot.

lol, LINK?

West did a very good job against him last year. I posted the series from last year as my link. Held to 5 game 1. Highest scoring game was 23. Tyson guarded Kurt Thomas every game. I think holding one of the Top 5 players in the well under his average in a 7 game series is considered a good job.

lol, LINK
