is this DeVon Hardin?
he's playing in Greece
and the Hornets were 30th in the league in rebounding
CHANDLER!!!! good riddance

you have never been more wrong.

what has Chandler done good this year?
He's almost been a liability. We wont miss him.
he game has drastically declined from last year. His attitude is even worse. And he is lazy as frick.

you do know we wont have a starting center going into next year? wilcox and smith both have expiring contracts and hilton is just a decent backup.
Posted on 2/17/09 at 4:55 pm to Lester Earl
the thing about chandler is we could have just kept him around in order to deal his contract in 2 years
we had our balls to the fire to deal him RIGHT NOW and because of that had to take 10 cents on the dollar

im pretty sure it had to do with the luxury tax next year. Which is why it was done now.
and i realize it looks like we have no center for next year now. But they'll work something out

I guarantee you that locker room is near mutiny right now. You saw how pissed they got about fricking bobby jackson last year, how do you think they feel about losing tyson, especially since you have players publicly commenting not even a day before the trade about how they don't think that's a smart move? Some one is going to go down for this, I bet Bower is gone after this season.

they should be happy they are getting an extra body in the post in hopes to improve our shitty team rebounding

I really don't see how this move is as bad as everyone is making it out to be. We get a guy averaging 8 pts/game and 5 rebs/game avg. under 20 mins/game & 6.6pts/game and 4.5 rebs/game under 20 mins/game for a guy averaging 8.8 pts and 8.3 rebs/game in 31 mins/game. Not to mention this guy playing in greece, what are the chances we get him to come play with the hornets? He's only 22.
Not to mention, if you watched Tyson play this year, he was shite, thankgod he can catch an alley oop from Paul. Otherwise he'd average a bucket a game.

we could have waited until the offseason and there would have been no luxury tax implications
we didn't even get a 1st round pick out of this
we literally asked the thunder to assume chandler's contract. we cut him, essentially. that's it

cp3 is likely pretty angry right now no doubt.

OKC has 5 1st round picks, and we didn;t even aquire one. just take that in for a bit.

because after this year it will be "chandler for nothing, except a 2nd round guy playing in europe may come over"

why would he be?
he can throw 2 alley oops a game to Wilcox now

weren't chemistry and character supposed to be 2 big traits for this team last year?
because this trade just upset both in a major way most likely

but for half the amount you were paying Chandler, you can pay someone else to be tall and dunk twice a game.
