Have you been to sporting events. There’s many fights in stands. People arguing with others they don’t know is the norm. A guy won’t go unchecked if he drops the n-word. He’d be recorded from a distance and his face would be revealed quickly.

I just noticed after the 2nd yell, you can see the mascot Dinger in the very top left of the shot, thats what all the fans behind home plate are turned to look at. I hadn't noticed that before. Makes me even more certain the guy is yelling Dinger.

In my life 95% of the n words I have heard came from black people. Should they be thrown in jail too or is this another double standard.

I would imagine very few fights are the result of some guy yelling something and some offended fan sees the need to go confront said fan and duke it out.
Its usually 2 drunk people in direct proximity to each other where stuff has been building for awhile. Oh lets not forget the usual woman in the middle talking shite.
So by your experience with these situations, the guy didnt say the N word?

My experience with social media and modern technology is that someone will be recorded and outed with quickness if they do this.
My experience with baseball games is that I have attended over 700 of them and have never seen or heard someone shouting the n-word in such a manner.

Sounds like the n-word to me but can't say for sure.
Either way, there are microphones placed around the field with their sounds mixed together so whoever said it could have been far from the area behind the plate. The broadcaster could probably go back and isolate which mic it came from and try to match it with a camera shot if they really wanted to.

The first reaction in 2021 is that a racist guy is calling Lewis Brinson the n-word.
We are assuming the mic picked up the sound with complete accuracy.
We are assuming people heard the n-word and chose not to react. Not even a pic or recording of this ‘racist’ fan in a liberal city.
The sound seems to sync up with a guy on the video pointing at his kid. The guy is looking in a different direction, not toward Brinson or the action on the field.
If that’s the guy, you have to understand the possibility that he could be pronouncing something goofy because his kid is next to him, or that he’s a few beers in and sounding sloppy.
There are so many possibilities, but in 2021 we assume he’s a racist guy who went unchecked in front of thousands of fans in Denver.

Contextually, I think so. We hear the word in question at the same time we see the fans behind home plate turning to look at Dinger the mascot.

I’m pretty sure it’s two separate people shouting out Dinger.
