From the picture you can tell that the stadium features individual seating instead of the park benches you find in most stadiums.

Quality over quantity.

That stadium is actually pretty nice and it fits in that community perfectly.

It's actually from this guy's Twitter. I think he's doing every D1 school

Has he done Oregon yet? I'm sure that one is quite the collection.

Would have been even better had the neighbors on Audubon Place not bitched up storm

It was the ones on Audubon Blvd, not Audubon Place.

What is the story on this. How would the stadium have been different?

Only on that side by the Stadium Club, everywhere else is bench seating.

As I recall from reading articles, the neighbors insisted on height restrictions for the stadium. In addition, Tulane had to install special lighting which directed the light directly on the field to reduce the glow around the stadium during night games. That's all I recall.

Considering Yulman was built abutting an expensive residential neighborhood, I don’t think their demands were too much.

There are several houses on the east side of Audubon Blvd with Yulman in their back yard

They were trying to stop the entire project

Those same houses had Tulane Stadium in their back yard

Yulman ended up being a third of the size, basically. The lighting on that field turf is awful.

Here's a few of the earlier renderings I was able to find. It looks like there was gonna be an upper concourse area on the Audubon Blvd. side.
