Tulane should still play one game per year in the Superdome, preferably early in the season.

Buy tickets in Glazers or buy the tickets under the overhang. Those will fine. Everything else will be hot.

Sit on the visitor side. Tulane is supposed to be smart but they put themselves on the sunny side of the field.

Or try to get into the Glazer Club.

Why? I have no desire to give Benson a nickel.

Comfort. I would much rather be in the Dome on August 30th.

Haven't been to Yulman in a while. I was on the home side and I was in the sun.

They do have seats in the sun but the visitor side has no shade whatsoever.

Tulane gets screwed by playing in the dome. Absolutely no reason to play there.

Last time I was there they had $2 canned beers at the top on the alumni side. It's a nice little stadium though getting in is a tad bit of a PITA b/c NIMBYS next door fought against entry on an entire side of the stadium. I would try to get some seats on the alumni side rather than the endzone if sun is a concern. Most views were pretty good though I'd try to be as high up on the left side as possible b/c of random team equipment on the right side of the sideline.

These two shots were from section 109

these shots were from section 204 or 205

here is an interactive map where people post shots from their seats so you can have an idea of what some of the views look like

What would you want the "NIMBYs" to do, let attendees cut through their front and back yards to get to the stadium?

what are they gonna do if they ever want to host a team that won’t come to Yulman?

There are enough teams that will come to Yulman. Ole Miss came and Oklahoma was going to come in 21 before Ida hit and the game was moved. Georgia Tech played here along with Kansas St. Duke is playing here along with Mississippi st and Iowa ast.

Tulane doesn't need any team to come here so badly that they need the Dome.

Only thing it would potentially prevent is getting into a Power 4/5 conference one day.

The stadium was built to be expanded. I think parking would be a bigger issue but they could just have more remote parking.

That’s a pretty big “only thing”

But it will be a long time before that is the only thing keeping them from getting in.

Thinking of going to the Tulane vs Army game.

Any hints on parking?
