As an old timer weenie hater, I find it typical of them that they are funding a new stadium for a program that is now decades into being poor & ignoring the one real athletic program that has both been good & presumably, in the black. But I still laff everytime I see RJ & his "socks".

People forget how good the 2001 Tulane team was. It was exciting and it really made you scratch your head how versatile those guys were. I enjoyed watching them play- and I wish they'd fund their program more. It's great to have a competitive state rival.

What the is Vandy doing right? Small private school playing in the toughest conference and they are having the best run over the past half dozen years.

Playing in the only conference with a national TV deal for baseball. Having a good coach. And recruiting the right kids.

As someone else alluded to, they are probably more liberal with their financial aid than Tulane is as well.
