Houston deserved to get hit with that quick strike by Tulane. The disrespect to go for it on their 30 at this point in the game was too much.

Tulane's coach should be fired, he's been there long enough for this team to be doing something now, but they're not.

Tulane should have gotten a 1st down off a leaping penalty on Houston on that punt.

Who's the last HC to get Tulane to 3 bowls in 6 years?

Man, any team can go to a damn bowl game in today's college game. Lol Teams with losing records make it, but this guy continues to underachieve with the talent he gets in LA.

If it was so easy why has no other Tulane HC done it?

and at the LA talent. Dude is at Tulane. It's one of the hardest schools to recruit to.

?? Man, thats some BS you spoutin. Lol Curtis Johnson the coach before Fritz took Tulane to a bowl game, and they were others before Johnson that took Tulane to bowl games, so, I don't know where you getting that from. But LA is a hotbed state for football talent. It's why LSU stays so loaded, it's not hard for Fritz to find talent there. But enough with the excuses brah

7-6 is the best Fritz can do, he’s had plenty of time. If making a bowl game is the goal, then yeah, keep him but if you want anything more than that you’re going to need a new coach

Tulane basically bought their way into a bowl game that year. Did some magic work with the schedule in order for him to make a bowl game. CJ was a terrible head coach.

He was a terrible coach but there wasn’t much magic work with the schedule. Just the weakest version of CUSA that Tulane ever played in

We’re talking bout Tulane here brah.
Tulane.
Tulane.

Don’t be delusional. Fritz bringing Tulane to bowl games on the regular is a feat. Lower your expectations to mediocrity and reality.
Awful year this year, no doubt.
If next year the same, fire him.
If competitive and bowl game next year, lifetime contract.

It’s really not. There’s no reason ULL should have a better football program than Tulane but they do right now.

They basically already gave him a lifetime contract, which is why he can now coast with all the job security in the world. The best Tulane can do is mediocre because that’s the goal. You get a raise and a contract extension for it.

What? UsL is a state school that can admit any retard that can play ball, and while Tulane can lower standards for athletes, they can't lower then that much. Tulane has deemphasized sports for decades at this point. They don't really care about winning.

Pretty sure Tulane allows any athlete that meets the minimum NCAA standards. Whether the coach is willing to trust those guys to pass might be another story.

I actually agree with that. That’s exactly why 7-6 is the best that they can do
