Reasons he could drop:
2 ankle surgeries
Broken wrist
Hip injury

He seems like a Tim Tebow type. Great college QB who can't or won't be a NFL QB for whatever reasons.

1st rd pick #32 is $10mil total contract with 5.4mil signing bonus.

No way he drops past that. Any money lost, he can make it back on his 2nd contract if he remains healthy.

Honesty that’s a pretty damn good scenario for him.

Late first round, play a year or 2 behind an established QB on a good team. Can really recover from his injury while getting millions with no expectation of playing much.

Again, returning to college for him is a really really stupid move.

Top 10 teams maybe. Once you get into the mid-late first teams will be all over him. Which honestly is where he should want to go

Bo Jackson also had terrible trainers who couldn’t diagnose the issue and let him keep playing on it making it way worse than it would’ve been. They are not the same or even close

Tua can say he goes or stays. A hip injury is serious. Now he can recover fantastic. And if the NfL has given him a high grade. But his injury 0ast is gonna hurt him.if I am a GM I will be concerned.

Umm.. huh?

How many top flight QBs prospects have we seen that have been seriously hurt going into the draft?

Tua would be a top 10 pick if he entered the draft. It’s not really debatable

We already know who is taking Tua. It will be New England. They have capital to move if needed and not going to be end pick so trading up won’t be horrible

It’ll be really interesting to follow because he won’t be able to do the weight training he would usually do to get ready for an SEC season. Then he won’t be able to do the in-season weight training probably at all. He’ll be one hit away from selling cars or insurance in Tuscaloosa.

Not surprising... He won’t be able to participate in the combine to show his true worth and he needs to prove he’s not Mr Glass.

He comes back a year, goes injury free, and enters the draft as the number two quarterback next year behind Lawrence.

Jaylon Smith has an injury way worse and was drafted 34th. LB can’t hold a QB’s jock when it comes to importance and risk worth taking. Tua would be top 10, going back to Bama only risks his draft status in the future, it won’t improve that much and he’s jeopardizing his whole career.

so not a QB and not taken in 1st round.
literally met none of the requirements i asked you to provide.

name any player taken in top 10 with an injury like Tua’s the last time anyone saw them on the field.

we are 3 months from the draft and he’s still on crutches with nothing but guesses as to how well he’ll recover due to no real history of this type of injury.

last guy with this type had to have his hip replaced and never played again.

yes medicine advanced a lot since then, and we THINK he’ll make a full recovery and be able to play again.
but we don’t know that yet.

If he foes and is healthy enough to work out and looks solid Miami will take him @ 5. If they don't take him then they have the 18 and 25 pick before NE.

Doctors knew within a month of the injury that Bo Jackson had lost cartilage and avascular necrosis.

Good chance they’d know by now on the necrosis front if it were there.
