Trevon Diggs has allowed the most receiving yards of any CB in the NFL this season

But he has 11 INTs.
As long as he’s getting the interceptions, that’s obviously tolerable, but those INTs may dry up. Quite a few are just random tipped balls.

Eta- fixed his INTs. Originally short changed him by 1.

Remember when Jamar did it on him?
Guess that don’t seem so bad now

*11
Yes he’s boom or bust but his receiving skills are why he’s so good at playing the ball and picking it off. He’s coverage will improve the more he plays CB.
Reminder, he switched to full time CB his sophomore year at Bama, dude is still learning. He wasn’t a full time corner his whole football career.

What are his stats in the red zone

Not sure, I just thought it was interesting how many yards he had allowed. Over 1,000 is pretty impressive for the wrong reasons.

Diggs is an above average CB in the NFL and there is nothing wrong with that

Interested if there are a couple long plays that distort the total. I also question when zone defense is attributed to a CB versus the route beats the designed coverage (e.g., 15 yard out beats cover 2).

This seems like a great case study for analysis
For example it might be worth the risk playing him more in some situations (your team is behind?) but less in others (you are winning by a TD or less late in the game?)

Yeah idk the specifics, obviously, but it clearly doesn’t seem like teams are shying away from him at all.

How many touchdowns has he given up? I have no idea.

But he has 11 INTs.
There was no pff breaking down play , but ......

How many tds & 1st downs given up may be more indicative of a Cornerbacks effectiveness.

He is one of the worst cover corners in the NFL.
Maybe the worst

Well sure, but he’s given up more yards than anyone else. On a relative basis he’s obviously doing poorly in that metric.

Maybe you should make a hot case for it. I’m a little surprised he is isn’t in.
Also, “tepid take” should be used as a retort here
